The shine is fully configurable and you can adjust all aspects, including the Brightness, the Angle of Light, the Reflectiveness of the surface, and the Extent of the Effect. You can also choose to have the shine faded, so the effect fades more the further away from the light source you get.

For added realism you can now make you display areas glow! This causes the display areas to cast a light, which is reflected off the surrounding skin areas. The Brightness and the Reach of this glow is fully adjustable. This effect can add greatly to the depth and realism of a skin when applied appropriately.

Want a button to stand out? Well now you can make them glow! This effect causes the button areas to glow, and cast a light on the surrounding areas of the skin. A great method to bring attention to a particular button, or perhaps to indicate an active button or state. The Brightness of the effect, as well as the distance of light cast is fully adjustable. You can also select what color the glow will be!

Display Grain allows you to add a subtle graininess to the display areas of your skin. This effect is best applied sparingly and can add to the photo-realistic qualities of the skin significantly! Those with a true artistic flair will appreciate this effect and what it can bring to a completed skin. The Contrast of the grain can be fully adjusted from an insignificant impact all the way to totally obscuring.

The Smoothing Accents allow you to apply smoothing effects to your skin. This effect smooths the diagonal borders between the elements, removing the sometimes harsh contrast that digital graphics can show. This effect greatly increases the photo-realism of the resulting image, and can make the skin softer on the eye.

New for Version 6, The new advanced line smoothing actually removes the existing curves in lines on your skin, replacing them with perfectly anti-aliased rendered lines. This removes the "jaggies" that can otherwise be visible. The lines of not just circles and ovals are replaced, but even the corners in rounded rectangles. The resulting image has a perfect, professional finish.
