Updated software to support Windows XP themes, updated internal web links and sundry other house cleaning.

A new version of the software has been released. This overcomes a few very minor bugs in the first, as details below:
BugFix: Some PaintPak setups causes multiple pak extractions to be extracted to the wrong directories. Only occured with some paks, and only when more than one pak was extracted at once.
BugFix: Clicking the text "click to change" above the actual paint colors crashed the software. I didn't mean to actually click THERE anyway... :-)
BugFix: Paste Pattern (clipboard) did not work on Version 1.0.1. Now fixed. This might come in handy for template designers.
Upgrade: PaintPak extraction total percent done was not strictly correct, this has been changed.

Here due to popular demand is the Shadow ACE 750 Custom Painter! The results of this software proved quite popular in the Strictly ACE 750 forum, so I have decided to polish it up and release the software as freeware. The software comes with a full install and uninstall (go into Control Panel, Add/ Remove Programs), help system and a number of paint styles are provided below to get you started.

The software is freeware, but if you make any pattern templates for the program (templates define the paint style, e.g. two-tone or flames) then please share them!

You can download the Shadow ACE 750 Custom Painter below. The software is 32 bit Windows software, and as such will not run on anything prior to Win95. This software also assumes (requires) you have a system with a screen resolution of 800 x 600 or greater, with a True Color (or at least High Color) palette. Please press F1 in the program for instructions on its use (if you need any).

The software comes with the default paint scheme (solid color). For a range of additional paint schemes see Paint Paks below! In the future I hope to release some more paint style packs, and hopefully if any users create their own, then they too will be added.

Additional Paint Paks!!

Want some more paint styles for the above software so you can experiment with some multicolor paint jobs for your Shadow ACE? Well, you can download a number of different paint patterns below. The files are packed and then zipped for size and manageability, I apologize for this but it does make them easier to distribute and implement. Simply run the exe and unzip the files into the same directory as the Shadow ACE 750 Custom Painter software. When you next start the software the Shadow ACE 750 Custom Painter will unpack the files automatically. Please be patient while the files are unpacked, as depending on your system it can take a little time.

PaintPak1.exe	Contains air brushed panel design and wasp design. (73 kb)
PaintPak2.exe	Contains numerous color fades, including four forward to back variations and a top to bottom design. (102 kb)
PaintPak3.exe	Contains various flaming designs, including three variations on faded flames and a solid flames design. (94 kb)

(113 kb) PLEASE NOTE: The Colored Seat design has a single pixel row at the back top of the rear seat that is not colored. This is unavoidable, as the software does not render that pixel row. I have created and included the design as this limitation is very minor, and the pixels in question would not be detectible at all for darker shades.
