Deciding on your immediately launching interface If you would like to simply and immediately open a document, then Pollen Software offers two choices.
AutoView offers the ability to automatically prompt the user to install a viewer from a range of viewers (which you set up). It also operates fully invisibly, and unless the viewer needs installing does not show itself.*
Autorun Action Flash on the other hand shows an image (which you provide) on screen for a length of time as it opens the document. It can prompt to install a set program if a viewer is not found, and includes a range of other advanced features such as animation and commandline arguments.
Remember, all Pollen Software's autorun packages are available as fully functioning shareware from their pages at the Applies To section above.
