Summary of Basic Options

In summary, there are two broad types of autorun. These are a menu, which provides the end user with options, and a program which immediately opens a document on the CD.

If you wish to immediately open a document we would recommend you try Autorun Action Flash. Autorun Action Flash can show an image of your choice while it opens your document. You can read more about Autorun Action Flash, as well as download the fully functional shareware from:

Autorun Action Flash Home Page

If you want to implement a menu, which will allow the user to choose from options, then we would recommend either AUTOption or Autorun Maestro. Which you choose will depend on your graphical skills. AUTOption only requires you provide a single image, which is used as the background. It is easy to use and even comes with a Setup Wizard. You can read more about AUTOption as well as download the fully functional shareware from:

AUTOption Home Page

If however you want the most impressive results, we would highly recommend Autorun Maestro. Autorun Maestro allows you to create fully graphical menus, with independently placed buttons. It even allows you to create menus which are of any shape you desire. You can read more about Autorun Maestro, as well as download the fully functional shareware from:

If you are not graphically inclines or skilled, we would highly recommend you try StyleSkin. StyleSkin is advanced interface skin rendering software that allows you to quickly and easily create highly attractive skinned interfaces. StyleSkin now directly exports to Autorun Maestro menus! Your can explore StyleSkin from Autorun Maestro's home page above, or by going to StyleSkin's site directly:
