Why do I have to enter the registration details every time I start the Editor/ Menu Editor/ Setup Wizard?

If you have to enter the registration details every time you edit your autorun configuration (i.e. edit the menu/ set up a new menu/ change the autorun software variables) then the .KEY file cannot be found by the software. The .KEY (the exact name depends on the package you have registered) file should be located in the root directory of your C: drive.

This key contains your registration name and registration number. The software will automatically read in the details if the file is present. The details are then encrypted when saved into the software. This prevents other from simply retrieving the details off a CD you provide to them and pirating the software.
