You used to offer free upgrades, do you still do that?

We (unofficially) offered upgrades free for a very many years, however an expanding user base has meant unfortunately we can no longer afford to do so. Our software is priced extremely low and the income from new software sales could never fund the bandwidth, support and other costs from our ever expanding user base. We realise that many users had become accustomed to free upgrades for our autorun software, and deeply regret the need to change that. We are aware that as part of the registration email we had a comment stating that the user was "eligible for ANY new versions that come out". Unfortunately as it has worked out existing customers are eligible for new versions, but at an upgrade price.

We would love to continue to offer the latest versions for free forever, but we are simply unable to do that. We greatly value our past customers, and we wish to thank them for their support and offer them the very best deal we can. Our choice of going forward by offering upgrades for these people is the best model we have available for doing that.
