When I insert the CD I have created nothing happens.

If nothing happens it is usually one of two things. Either auto-insert notification (and/ or auto-play) has been turned off, or the autorun.INF file is not in the correct location.

Make sure you test your CD on a machine OTHER than the computer with the CDR drive. This is because most CDR software (the software you use to burn the CD) turns off two separate settings on the machine for the CD drives. If either of these settings (Auto-insert notification and auto-play data/ audio CDs) is turned off then nothing will happen when you insert the CD.

In order for the CD to autorun it requires the AUTORUN.INF file in the root of the CD. This file tells MS Window what program to start when the CD is inserted. Without it (in the root directory) nothing will happen.
