My autorun application is not digitally signed, why?

We cannot sign your compiled menu application. It cannot be digitally signed as the content and actions of your autorun menu EXE are user set and cannot be verified by us. Almost any conceivable action can be taken by our autorun software, actions which are unknown to us and we cannot verify are safe to end users. Digital signatures also verify the EXE has not changed in any way since we released it, but as the menu application is created by the menu developer it will always be different in size. As it is while we are the copyright owner and publisher of our software, you are the publisher of your menus, and unfortunately you are ultimately unverified by Microsoft. The technology used in our autorun applications also means the signature process, which changes the contents of the application EXE, can also corrupt the menu application and cause it not to work.
