I would like to send you a screenshot, how do I do that? If you are experiencing technical issues with a product, it is often a good practice to send a screenshot of the problem to us, so that we might have a better understanding of what is occurring. Please refrain from sending large bitmaps, as our email service has a very hard time coping with these.
The easiest method to send a screenshot to us is as follows:
If you do not have WinZip, or a similar product, installed, then download and install it now. You can download WinZip from their site at www.winzip.com.
Then position the problem on screen such that all relevant details are visible. Get the program to the state where it is not working for you. It is best if you move the error dialog out of the way of obscuring relevant information in the background. Once you have everything on screen, and the error dialog is up, press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
Now you have the image in the MS Windows clipboard. Press the Start menu button, click Programs submenu, click Accessories submenu, click Paint. Note that this is the default location of MS Paint, your copy may be located in a different location on your Start menu. Once in MS Paint, click Edit -> Paste. The program will ask you if you would like to make the image larger to fit the pasted picture, answer Yes.
Save the file (click File -> Save). Locate the saved file on your hard drive using Windows Explorer. RIGHT-click on the file and select "Add to [filename].zip" (where filename is the name you saved the file as). Attach the zipped file to an email and send it off to us with a detailed description of the events which led up to the screen shot. To attach a file to an email you typically (it differs with different email software) click Insert -> File attachment.
