My menu fits on my computer, but not on my friend's, what do I do?

Whether a menu will fit or not depends on the resolution the computer is running at. It is best to keep your menus smaller than 640 x 480 as this is the lowest resolution a computer screen can be. Usually though, it is now considered acceptable to remain within 800 x 600. If however the user has a display running at a resolution that will not fit your menu, it will be cut off at the bottom or right to fit withing the screen.

You can check and change your resolution by right-clicking on your Desktop, selecting Properties and clicking the Settings tab in the upper right. There you will find a slider which you can slide to adjust your display resolution. The resolutions available will depend on your video card.
